The Boston Breakout has been one of North America’s most popular hockey events for more than a decade. As a five-game guaranteed showcase for 2012-2017 divisions and a 4 game guaranteed showcase for Midget (15u,16u,18u) divisions, the Breakout allows teams to test themselves in the early stages of the season with no pressure to qualify for playoffs
SuperSeries staff will match teams into groups, based on the following criteria:
- Creating the most competitive games
- Produce match-ups in an effort to avoid games between teams that face each other often during the season.
Format - Showcase
Location: New England, the event will take place in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Eligible Teams - AA and AAA teams are eligible
Schedule - We have noticed an increase in teams that have inexplicably pulled out of events at the last minute, causing us to have to re-work the schedule. Please DO NOT make any plans that can not be refunded based on the schedule you receive. All teams must be prepared to play at 8:00 am on Friday and all play is scheduled to end by 4 pm on Sunday (no exceptions).
Age groups/divisions will play at centrally located rinks. Schedules will be released to all registered teams 7-10 days before the event start date.
Please note: Deposits must be paid within 30 days of registration. Payment in full must be received 75 days before the event start date or your team will be removed from the event.
